Justin Bieber has sparked concerns over his health after a video of him shaking while meeting a group of young fans emerged.
The footage, which has since gone viral, shows the singer allegedly ‘tweaking’ as he waves to and hugs a teenage girl who runs into him on the street.
Wearing a white t-shirt, long black shirts and a baseball cap over his wild blond hair, Justin has a dazed look on his face as the group of girls goes up to him.
Bieber starts out by waving wildly to some off-camera, while clutching his other hand to his chest.
He then seems to go into spasm for a second, with his whole torso shaking as he screws his face up.
Justin then relaxes and opens his right arm out for one of the girls to give him a hug, and sports an odd grin as she cuddles up to him.
The next part of the footage shows his left arm coming around to the girl’s back and frenetically rubbing her grey sweatshirt, while still grinning manically.
It ends with pumping his fist up and down quickly as the girl looks up at him.
A lot of Twitter users were worried about Justin’s welfare when the video surfaced.
One wrote: "Damn. Thats saddening. Hope he can shake that. Alot of kids look up to him."
Another tweeted Justin directly, asking him: "Can you please explain what happened here? People are claiming you were tweaking from meth."
And a third said: "What’s up with the video of Justin Bieber tweaking like he’s on something?"
It came after Scooter Braun, the manager Bieber shares with Ariana Grande , admitted he used to be petrified Justin would overdose and die through substance abuse.
"There was a time when I would go to sleep almost every night – when he had the money to fly away from me – and I was worried every night that I was gonna lose him," Scooter told Van Tathan’s Red Pill podcast.
"That was the time when I was telling him he’s not allowed to work. He used to yell and scream at me and he wanted to put music out. He wanted to tour, but I thought if he did that, he would die. So I just refused.
"We weren’t making any money, it wasn’t like I was trying to take advantage – I didn’t want him to work, I wanted him to get healthy."
Scooter even attended Al-Anon meetings to support Bieber’s battle for sobriety, but thought the singer wouldn’t be able to stop himself when he was in "a dark place".
"I thought he was going to die. I thought he was going to sleep one night and that he would have so much crap in his system that he would not wake up the next morning," he added.
"It wasn’t until one day he woke up and said, ‘Hey, I need to talk to you. I don’t want to be this person anymore.’ And he made the decision to change, and actually put that into action, and the result is who he’s become today, and that is the result of his own decision, no one else’s."
Since then, Justin has found god through the Hillsong Church – a religious movement that has been accused of covering up child abuse and of being a cult – and is now engaged (possibly married) to Hailey Baldwin after a truly whirlwind romance.
Mirror Online has contacted Justin’s rep for comment.
