Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out in Bristol today despite the snow, and the expectant parents spoke with members of the crowd who’d been waiting in the freezing weather to meet them.
From asking fans for parenting advice, to greeting the sweetest group of young children who were all wrapped up to brave the cold weather, Meghan and Harry weren’t afraid of a little snow during their visit. And they also made sure to chat with as many people as they possibly could before they got shown around Bristol Old Vic theater.
In a touching video clip shared by The Royal Family channel on Twitter, it was revealed that Prince Harry briefly spoke to a member of the crowd who had been waiting to meet him. According to the account, “Prince Harry was stopped by a woman in Bristol who showed him a picture of his mother Princess Diana from 25-years-ago. Visibly touched, the Duke tells her to look after the photograph.”
Adorably, Harry told the royal fan that he recognized the photo of his mother, which had been taken on a visit to Thornbury in Bristol. The fan recounted that her own mother had met Princess Diana and had been so nervous about it, she didn’t want to let go of the flowers she had brought along for the royal:
Now that Harry is starting a family of his own with Meghan, it’s clear that the duke is continuing his mother’s legacy and keeping her memory alive wherever he goes.
