Russell Westbrook and wife expecting twin girls

The Westbrooks will soon be a party of five.

On Tuesday, Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook and wife Nina confirmed they are expecting twin girls, sharing the big reveal in a YouTube video entitled, “The Westbrook Family.”

Proud parents to 16-month-old son Noah, Westbrook and Nina, both 29, joked about how their future daughters can keep their eldest child in line.

“There will be two of them. We’re having twins, so if Noah gets out of hand, they’ll be able to both jump on him at the same time,” quipped The Little Ark boutique owner, who also noted that her son likes to “terrorize” the family dog.

“It’s very, very exciting for us and something I look forward to,” Westbrook said. “Just having two girls is exciting in itself, but just having been able to be blessed and have more children, I think, is a complete honor. It’s a blessing.”

Entering his 11th season with the Thunder, the NBA star is balancing both basketball and daddy duty with ease.

“He’s very hands-on, he helps a lot, he probably does more than I do when he’s around,” Nina shared. “[He] wakes up early, stays up late, puts Noah to bed, goes to workout late at night.”

Westbrook maintains fatherhood is his top priority.

“Being a dad is more important to me than anything else. Family is always the most important thing for me, regardless of what I do or how I do it, but it’s important that Noah knows I’m his dad first and not a basketball player,” he said. “Being a father, a husband and a family man is more important than anything else.”

Westbrook and Nina tied the knot in August 2015.
