Princess Beatrice’s sweet but subtle nod to daughter Sienna with Coronation dress

Princess Beatrice made a sweet nod to her young daughter Sienna on Saturday, as she opted for a bright magenta dress to attend her uncle King Charles’ Coronation.

The 34 year old royal delighted fans as she attended the historic occasion wearing the vivid dress by designer Beulah London.

Retailing at £695, the dress features a high neckline, statement puff sleeves and a matching belt to cinch in the waist, making it the perfect dress to attend any formal function or wedding in the future.

But as well as simply being a bold sartorial statement, the dress was also named ‘Sienna’, meaning it also served as a poignant nod towards Beatrice’s one year old daughter with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who was too young to attend the ceremony herself.

The brand is also another sustainable offering championed by Beatrice, who in recent months has frequently been spotted wearing outfits by brands that have committed to reduce their carbon footprint, while also using only sustainable and organic materials to produce their clothes.

Another fine example of Beatrice’s commitment to ethical and sustainable style, was her outfit choice for Sunday’s Coronation big lunch, when she re-wore a vintage Alexander McQueen jacket, and teamed it with a chic blue and white floral skirt by Cara Cara, who also champion the use of responsible manufacturing, and work with natural components and fabrics.

Accompanied by her sister Princess Eugenie, the stylish royals embraced the festive spirit of the occasion as they chatted and partied away with revellers who were throwing a street party in Buckinghamshire to mark the special Coronation weekend.

The senior royals, who are the nieces of the new king, followed in the footsteps of their regal relatives as all of the working royals, along with some very special guests, made appearances at street parties around the country to celebrate the historic occasion.

Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, also made an unscheduled visit to members of the public lining the Long Walk by Windsor Castle for around half an hour this afternoon.

Dressed in shades of chic but timeless blue, the duo took plenty of selfies and hugged members of the public as they got into the party spirit – with one moment in particular capturing the hearts of the nation when Kate was seen hugging a crying child.

Elsewhere in the country, Princess Anne was seen attending a Coronation Big Lunch in Swindon, while her brother Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, were spotted enjoying a Big Lunch celebration in Cranleigh, Surrey.
