The 66-year-old Prince’s Trust Ambassador headed to the TK Maxx And Homesense Awards at the London Palladium and looked very smart in his blue suit as he walked the red carpet.

The former Bond star has been sporting his new look for a few weeks now – the definition of a Van Dyke beard is a full goatee with detached moustache.

How he normally looks: Pierce (pictured with his son, Dylan) usually has designer stubble or a clean-shaven appearance

According to the website: ‘The awards recognise young people who succeed against the odds, improve their chances in life and have a positive impact on their local community.’

‘We believe that every young person should have the chance to embrace exciting opportunities. So, we help 11 to 30 year-olds to find the tools and confidence to try free courses and start careers.’

Meanwhile, last year, Pierce said he was hoping for a woman to take over as the next Bond.

He told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘I think we’ve watched the guys do it for the last 40 years.

‘Get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there. I think it would be exhilarating, it would be exciting.’

Pierce, who played Bond on four occasions, then said: ‘I don’t think that’s going to happen with the Broccolis. I don’t think that is going to happen under their watch.’

Heading inside: Prince Charles was present on the day and was pictured walking into the Palladium
