Pete Davidson wants to get ALL his tattoos ‘burned off’ after new movie required him to sit ‘3-4 hours’ in the makeup chair to cover his body ink
Pete Davidson is said to be making a huge change to his body.
Aisle Seat film critic Mike McGranahan wrote on Twitter that the 27-year-old Saturday Night Live star is doing away with his roughly 100 tattoos.
‘Just attended a virtual Q&A with the Judd Apatow and the cast of THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND,’ wrote Mike on December 6. ‘And here’s a scoop: Pete Davidson is in the process of getting all his tattoos removed!’

The tweet included a screen-grab of the Q&A with cast members such as comedy icon Bill Burr and Oscar winner Marisa Tomei.
Although one might assume that Pete was only joking, Mike clarified otherwise to a Twitter user who wrote: ‘That’s not serious is it? Why?’
‘No, it’s real. He even showed his hand, which is already done,’ wrote Mike before shedding some light on Pete’s reasons for the tattoo removal.
‘He said it takes 3-4 hours in the makeup chair to cover them, so he figured “it would be easier to get them burned off,”‘ dished Mike.

If Pete really plans to remove all of his ink he will have a lengthy process ahead of him as he has had more than 100 tattoos applied over the course of his life.
Some examples include a the Tootsie Pop owl, Hillary Clinton’s face, a shark and an image of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge from Brooklyn to his native Staten Island.
Back when he was romantically involved with Ariana Grande he got a set of bunny ears inked below one year as a tribute to her Dangerous Woman album.
Pete also used to have a tattoo called ‘mille tendresse,’ French for ‘a thousand tendernesses’ – a copy of one of Ariana’s.

Ariana’s tattoo took the phrase from Truman Capote’s novel Breakfast At Tiffany’s and Pete got his in a romantic gesture toward her.
However after their engagement broke he had it inked over with the word ‘cursed’ in a move noticed by eagle-eyed fans on social media.
Prior to being with Ariana he spent years dating Larry David’s daughter Cazzie who has just released a book of comic essays called No One Asked For This.

During a fundraising gig in Boston last year John Mulaney dished that Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels was critical of Pete’s tattoos, People reported.
John, who was doing the stage show with Pete, recalled that Lorne told him: ‘He keeps getting tattoos and, you know, they’re coming up the neck. I get it if you’re a girl and it’s on your neck, or if you’re like a boy in the Army.’
