Soul Station, the side-project of KISS frontman Paul Stanley, on Friday released a brand-new song, “I, Oh I.”
“I, Oh I ” is one of the five original songs featured on Soul Station’s upcoming album Now and Then, which is set to be released on March 19.
In addition, the new collection will also include a series of covers of Soul and R&B classics.
“As much as Soul Station is rooted in the past, I wanted our music to also live in the present,” Stanley said in a statement. “‘I, Oh I’ shows what can grow from those deep roots. With love and respect, we’re proud of where we come from and where we’re going. Check out the first of five originals from the album.”
The song was accidentally shared to YouTube on February 19, before being taken down, with Stanley apologizing for the mishap on Twitter.
“I’m a man, and I’m proud / I was wrong, now I’ll fight to get you back in my arms,” Stanley croons in one of the earlier verses.
