‘Paris’ stunning ring appears to feature a 15-20 carat emerald cut diamond, framed by two trapezoid or trillion shaped accent diamonds and set on a delicate white gold or platinum band,’ she said. ‘Depending on the quality and specific characteristics of the center stone, we estimate the cost of the ring to be well over $1M USD.’

Meanwhile, Denis Stepansky, founder and owner of ItsHot Diamond Jewelry and Watches, suggests it’s closer to $2M, telling DailyMail.com: ‘That’s an impressive ring. Classic 3 stone design signifying past, present, future, but very nicely and originally done.’

‘Center stone is a huge emerald cut diamond, between 15-20 carats, with trapezoid shape diamonds in pressure setting on each side of the ring, and over 50 micro pave set round diamonds accentuating the beauty.

He adds: ‘With top quality diamonds the ring would be valued between $1.5m to $2m.’

‘We pushed the limits of jewelry using a tension setting to align the diamonds seamlessly without metal,’ Paris wrote explaining the out of the box concept behind the ring.

‘A group of the finest diamond cutters, polishers, jewelers, and setters were assembled for this special project,’ she added.

The Los Angeles-based jeweler has designed one-of-a-kind engagement rings for 15 years with his namesake label. Dousset worked with prestigious French jewelry houses Boucheron and Van Cleef & Arpels before venturing out on his own.
