Nicola Peltz looks unrecognisable in Christmas classic as her movie career is uncovered

Nicola Peltz — best known to the world as Brooklyn Beckham’s glamorous fiancée — has appeared unrecognisable in an unearthed photo capturing her in her film debut posted ahead of her wedding this Saturday.

The 27 year old first appeared onscreen as MacKenzie in 2006’s Deck the Halls, where she acted opposite film stars Danny Devito, Kristen Davis and Matthew Broderick as just 11 years old.

In the throwback clip, Nicola looks miles different to herself today as she is seen rocking a blue striped beanie with her naturally darker tresses hanging loosely underneath.

Although this was the first time the actress appeared onscreen, Nicola admitted on Instagram that her actual first feature was in Righteous Kill alongside acting giants Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.

Nicola’s scene in which she starred, however, was cut out from the film she explained on social media as she posted a never-before-seen shot of herself from the 2008 movie on Instagram Stories.

The US star was pictured in the deleted scene as a youngster with her natural darker tresses on show as she wore a smart white shirt and grey checked pinafore dress.

Young Nicola appeared smiling in the shot as she was seen stood next to Hollywood actress Melissa Leo, who was also smiling beside the child star.

"My first ever scene in a film got cut and this is the first time I've seen a photo from it," Nicola captioned with a laughing face emoji as she shared the photo online.

Fans showed surprise as they commented in response to the actress’ child appearance, as one follower wrote: "AWEE love this!!!"

A second person said: "How cute she is", while another added: “Look at the story of Nicola” followed by a love heart face emoji.

Although Nicola was cut from what would have been her debut film feature, she went on to have an impressive career as performer having starred in blockbuster Last Airbender only four years later.

The actress then went on to bag her biggest movie role to date as the daughter of Mark Wahlberg’s character in 2014 film Transformers: Age of Extinction, propelling her further forward in the movie and TV industry.

In the midst of featuring in the global hit, Nicola also starred in critically acclaimed TV drama Bates Motel from 2013 up until 2015, where she played character Bradley Martin opposite actress Vera Farmiga.

The Florida native went on to feature in hit series Inhumans in 2017 and more recently appeared in festive romantic film Holidate released on Netflix in 2020.

Aside from her buzzing upcoming wedding to partner Brooklyn this Saturday, Nicola has another exciting project she is involved in which will see her star in new TV series Immigrant alongside ex Downton Abbey star Dan Stevens and actress Juliette Lewis.
