Sad news for fans of the animated Spider-Man movies…
It has been recently revealed that the upcoming third film Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse‘s release date has been delayed, indefinitely.
Amid both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, studio Sony Pictures pushed back quite a few releases, but for the next Spider-Verse, it’s been pulled from the schedule completely.

EW reports that Sony has several different dates in mind for the movie, but nothing has been set yet, as the strikes continue to be ongoing. The writer’s strike has been going on since May and the actor’s strike since July.
Previously, Beyond the Spider-Verse was schedule to hit theaters on March 29, 2024.
As part of the release date changes, live action Spider-Man character movies, Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web also got their dates shifted. Kraven was pushed back nearly a year, from October 2023 to August 2024, while Madame Web was actually moved up a few days to February 14, 2024.
