Naomi Campbell has given a rare insight into her life as a mom-of-two, admitting that her two-year-old daughter has already picked up her diva attitude.
The 53-year-old supermodel told Today presenter Sheinelle Jones, 45, that while she is having ‘a lot of fun’ raising her tots – a daughter and a son, who arrived in June – she has had to discipline her eldest for demanding ‘privacy’ at parties.
‘I love it,’ Campbell said of motherhood. ‘It’s a lot of fun. Every day is a surprise. You don’t know what’s going to happen, what my daughter is going to say.’
Lifting the lid on her daughter’s sass, Campbell continued: ‘She goes to a party and she says, like, “Mom, privacy!” and I’m like, “huh?” And I said, “not to your mama. You can do that to everybody else, but to me!”

The supermodel, who is infamous for her own diva-esque behaviors, then joked: ‘I don’t know where she got it from!’
Campbell is famed for being notoriously late and was given a stern warning for arriving to set three hours late while filming Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie in 2015.
‘Maybe in her past, nobody’s ever asked her to be on time — they just expected her to be a diva,’ her co-star Jennifer Saunders told Page Six.
Campbell also once famously told fellow judge Nicole Trunfio on reality show The Face: ‘Don’t compare yourself to me… you are not on my level and you will never be.’
And in 2019 she shared a video documenting her airplane routine which sees her thoroughly cleaning her business class compartment onboard and throwing on a hand washed seat cover.

Her arrival sparked widespread speculation that she used a surrogate, a popular approach among older celebrity mothers, because she was not spotted with an obvious baby bump in the months leading up to the birth.
Campbell has previously hinted at surrogacy, claiming science has given her an opportunity to start a family ‘whenever she wants’.
The London-born model announced in June that she had become a mother again at the age of 53.
She confirmed the arrival of a baby boy on Instagram, posting a photograph of her newborn son in her arms with her daughter holding his hands.
At the time, she told her followers: ‘My little darling, know that you are cherished beyond measure and surrounded by love from the moment you graced us with your presence.
‘A true gift from God. Blessed! Welcome baby boy. It’s never too late to become a mother.’
While Campbell has not made public his name or details about his birth, her friends have claimed that she used a surrogate to have him.

They told the Daily Mail: ‘It came as a surprise to her wider circle after she only told a handful of people that she was becoming a mom for the second time.
‘Suddenly she postponed a work commitment because she needed to be at her surrogate’s side and the next moment, she had a beautiful baby boy. There was a lot of surprise, and of course happiness.’
It’s understood that Campbell is raising her children on her own and is not in a romantic relationship.
She has previously had high-profile romances with the likes of rapper Skepta, billionaire Vladislav Doronin and was linked to Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio.
Earlier this week, Campbell unveiled her new 90-piece PrettyLittleThing collection in New York.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail, she hit back at critics of her collaboration with the online brand and implored that ‘fashion shouldn’t discriminate.’
She said: ‘I feel this collection was fun, chic, sexy, vibrant, inclusive, and fashion should not discriminate… who’s to say that PrettyLittleThing are not going to continue working with young creatives and leading and changing into sustainability, who knows. New beginnings.’

Campbell said that working with PrettyLittleThing has been an empowering experience following decades of wearing the designs of other fashion houses as she becomes the changing face of a new era.
She added: ‘I have worked for years for everybody else. It’s nice to do something for me.
‘Whenever they think of working with someone, they never come to the actual models, they usually go to the celebrities.
‘There are a few other models that have done fast fashion, and they were totally praised and adored and are loved.
‘I don’t think about other people when I say yes to something. If I understand it and I see what it can be then that’s how I commit to the things I do.’
