In November Millie stayed at the £1,580-per-night Soneva Fushi resort in the Maldives, where Joseph was also holidaying.

Millie, who plays Eleven in Stranger Things, described her stay on the island as ‘the trip of a lifetime’.

Other famous faces who have stayed in the resort include rugby stars James Haskell and Jason Robinson who visited during the World Cup. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner also stayed in the resort during their honeymoon earlier this year.

Millie’s holiday comes after she admitted that the ending of the last series of Stranger Things left her feeling ‘p****d’ as the fate of Eleven was revealed.

Millie told how her fellow cast mates were left in tears as the gang were forced to part during the final episode.

Viewers of the hit sci-fi series will know that Jim Hopper (David Harbour) made the ultimate sacrifice, resulting in Eleven moving in with Joyce and the Byers family, before they eventually moved away from Hawkins.

Their exit saw Eleven’s boyfriend Mike as well as their best friends Dustin and Lucas left behind in what was a very emotional end to the season.

Speaking her mind on how things concluded, Millie told Elle magazine: ‘I was p****d. I read the script and I was like, “What, how is this even possible? Why are they moving away?” They were like “Didn’t you read episode 3?” And I was like, “Oh yeah.”‘

She continued: ‘Because Joyce said she wanted to move away from Hawkins. I don’t know, I just felt really against it.’

Millie explained that she and her co-stars pondered how they would weep in front of each other, when they didn’t do it ‘very often’, adding that she was the one usually crying in ‘every single scene’.

The star went on to say that the cast were crying for real when someone questioned how they would all feel when Stranger Things eventually wraps.

She explained: ‘And we all started crying and then they rolled camera and said action. And that was it. We all started saying goodbye to each other. We felt too real.’
