‘I took the kids!’: Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher set the record straight on split rumours by sharing lighthearted video
Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have poked fun at rumours of a split by sharing a lighthearted video.
The couple – who have been married since 2015 and have children Wyatt, four, and Dimitri, two, together – filmed themselves reacting to a US tabloid report about their ‘split hell’ on Wednesday evening.
Feigning faux shock, the pair read the headlines together from their parked car, with Mila, 35, telling her husband, 41, ‘it’s over between us’.

Ashton asks the Black Swan actress: ‘Babe, what’s happening? What’s going on?’
‘It’s over between us!,’ she replies, to which he exclaims, ‘It’s over between us? Oh my god, what are we going to do?’
‘Yeah… I felt suffocated!’, Mila tells him, prompting Ashton to joke: ‘You felt suffocated by me? I was just so overbearing, wasn’t I!’
Nodding sagely, Mila pauses for comedic effect and adds: ‘Also… I took the kids!’

Calling it quits: ‘I felt suffocated!’, Mila tells him, prompting Ashton to joke, ‘You felt suffocated by me? I was just so overbearing, wasn’t I!’
‘Oh, you took the kids? I don’t get the kids anymore?’, Ashton says, as Mila explains, ‘But… you had a very dark secret exposed!’
‘Oh my gosh, what was the dark secret?’, the Hollywood star jokes, before Mila chimes in, ‘I don’t know!’
Mila and Ashton met while working on That 70s show when she was just 14 and he was 19, playing love interests on screen.
The actress starred as bratty teen Jackie and Ashton played intellectually challenged heartthrob Kelso – and she even shared her first kiss with him.

However, it wasn’t until years later that anything romantic happened between them.
Kutcher was married to Demi Moore, 15 years his senior, from 2005 to 2011.
Earlier than same year, Kunis split from Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, whom she had dated since 2002.
The pair initially had a very causal dating arrangement, but soon realised they were meant to be together.
Speaking on Sirius XM previously, Mila explained: ‘We started dating with the idea we both were never going to get married. He had just got out of a marriage and I had gotten out of a relationship.
‘We shook hands on it and life was great. But we were in agreement that it was just fun. And three months later, I was like, “This isn’t just fun anymore”.

‘And then a year later we wanted to get married. I think it took everyone by surprise.’
Mila revealed never saw Ashton as anything other than a friend until she met up with him years after That 70s Show at an awards bash.
Describing the moment things changed, she said: ‘We’d always kept in touch but I never thought of him romantically. I was at an awards show and I see this guy and I see his back and he’s really tall.
‘I was like, “Who’s that guy?” Then he just turns around and it was literally like if we were in a movie, the music would start playing and the violins would go…
‘I think for the first time ever he took my breath away… I was like f**k, he’s good looking.
‘He had planned to set me up with his friend. Long story short, I didn’t leave until the next morning. It was the first time I had stayed over at a guy’s house when I was single but he didn’t want me to leave.’
