Mel Gibson is hard at work on no less than five movie projects right now.
But on Friday, the Academy Award-winner, 63, took a time out from his demanding schedule to do a little grocery shopping with his partner Rosalind Ross, 28, and their two-year-old son Lars.
Gibson was spotted holding hands with his little boy as the trio were leaving the store in Malibu, on what turned out to be another beautiful sunny day.

Keeping with his recent trend of casual-comfort, the Braveheart star looked beach-ready in light blue shorts with a black polo-style shirt and tan sneakers.
He added a black and white baseball cap and dark mirrored sunglasses, to help stave off the glaring sun, while sporting a full beard and mustache.
The actor and director looked liked the dotting dad as he led the way for his boy, who was dressed in dark sweatpants, blue shirt and grey sneakers.

Ross trailed close by, pushing the cart full of food and beverages.
She too kept it casual in faded blue denim jeans with holes in the knees, a black sweatshirt and black slip-on sneakers.
The former equestrian vaulter champion wore her brown tresses long and straight well past the middle of her back, with a center part.
The couple have reportedly been together since 2014.
Gibson also has seven children with his ex-wife Robyn Moore Gibson and a nine-year-old daughter, Lucia, with Russian pianist Oksana Grigorieva.

The Hollywood legend is currently filming the action-thriller Waldo alongside co-stars Eiza Gonzalez, Rupert Friend, Charlie Hunnam and Morena Baccarin.
He’s also starring in a science-fiction film with Frank Grillo and Naomi Watts and has comitted to the World War II revenge thriller War Pigs with Colin Farrell.
Gibson has also signed on to co-write and direct a remake of The Wild Bunch and he’s developing a sequel to his film Passion Of The Christ, which will again star Jim Caviezel and focus on the resurrection of Jesus.
