These two did not hold back even a little bit on Wednesday.
Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill got into an absolutely vicious knock down-drag out feud that played out publicly on Twitter for the whole world to see, and all we can say is YIKES…
The whole thing started with a now-deleted pic the Going Bad rapper liked on another social network, but the battle quickly moved over to them tweeting, where neither one of them was able to hold back much at all.
Here’s how everything went down late Wednesday morning, and on into the afternoon…
It All Blows Up…
Things all kicked off on Instagram, where Meek “liked” a since-deleted pic calling out Nicki’s man Kenneth Petty over what he was wearing in a recent photo.
The Shade Room quickly picked up on it, though, as you can see (below):
Insta fingers, indeed, because very quickly after that the rap queen herself posted up on Twitter calling her ex-BF out for being “obsessed” with her! She also shared her own “bad built” picture to throw it back in Meek’s face, too:
And with that, we were off to the races!!!
Minutes later, Nicki added this to the fray, calling out the male rapper for his supposed obsession with her and Petty, also referencing another recent public fight between the two:
Uh-oh!!!
Not in the mood to let her tweet without a reaction, Meek quickly went all in minutes later. He opened by referencing the legal issues surrounding Nicki’s brother Jelani Maraj, with his recent conviction in a court of law after he was found guilty of raping an 11-year-old girl.

Nicki tried to clap back from that one, though, tweeting:
Escalate, escalate, escalate… here we go…
In response to the claims about her older brother, Nicki followed up by tweeting (and quickly deleting):
“Imagine talking about an alleged rape of a child to hurt someone who wasn’t involved just so ppl can dislike me. You can never stand on your own. You won’t tell ppl the mother is on tape asking me for $20 million to make the charge go away tho. U was around. U know. See u soon.”
Fans and followers didn’t take too kindly to that one in particular, pointing out to Nicki that her brother had been convicted — so it was no longer an “alleged” rape — and calling her out for being remarkably insensitive to the victim in the matter.
Still, Meek didn’t hesitate to use it as metaphorical ammo against her in the online war of words:

Meek also tweeted — and deleted — another message about Nicki, writing:
“I can’t believe industry people let these people survive this long in the game knowing they really nasty people and have a nasty upbringing. Everybody really know what’s going on! I’m powerful I’m never scared to speak up!”
Hmmm… this whole thing blew up WAY bigger than it should have!

Meek’s Girl Is Pregnant, Too!
Some good news here amidst all the drama!!!
While Meek and Nicki were laying bare everything awful in public, the 32-year-old rapper simultaneously dropped a bomb in a quickly-deleted tweet, noting his girlfriend Milan Harris is pregnant!
In the middle of his heated war of words with the Anaconda superstar, Meek Mill unexpectedly offered up the baby news, writing in a quick tweet about ending the public blood-feud:
“My girl is with me pregnant watching me tweet about my ex is very clownish. Ima exit.”
Curiously, he almost immediately deleted the tweet after posting. But still! That’s big news!
Congratulations to Meek and Milan, even though this is a very bizarre way to reveal a pregnancy! LOLz!!!
Nicki Regrets Things…
It wasn’t just Meek seeking the quick exit after way too much public fighting between exes, either.
Later on Wednesday, the 37-year-old rapper was holding a Q&A session at the Pollstar Live! conference in Beverly Hills, when she fielded questions about her hours-old spat with Meek.
When a question came up about how to develop young artists, Nicki offered this advice (below):
“Keep your eye on the bigger picture is what I would say. If I had to, I would have redone the whole thing and just kept my mouth shut. Put my music out and shut the hell up.”
Almost immediately, panel moderator Irving Azoff picked up on the irony of that comment, asking the Super Bass star if she herself had been “doing any tweeting” earlier in the day.
Nicki took it in stride, admitting her fault in the whole public meltdown just a little bit by noting:
“I could use the good old hack excuse. Listen, it never fails. Every time I do it, five minutes later, I’m like, why the f**k did I…? Every single time. But it’s a good lesson in knowing how to master your anger and emotions. So, every time I do that, I like give myself a talking to in my head, like, ‘OK, you played yourself, you shouldn’t have did that. You learned your lesson again.’ How many times did I learn that lesson? So, I gave myself that talk today, sir.”
Well then! Very interesting… Sounds like both parties regret things a little bit here, don’t they?!
