Roxanne Pallett is no stranger to a visit to the tattoo parlour and boasts a number of inkings all over her body.
Some are more discreet while others, such as the design on her wedding band finger, are much more obvious to the naked eye.
Following ‘punchgate,’ which saw Roxanne embroiled in a media storm after she accused Ryan Thomas of ‘deliberately’ punching her, it’s been revealed that the ex Emmerdale actress has a rather awkward quote about boxing on her hip.
35-year-old Roxanne opted to get a quote from the Rocky Balboa films starring Sylvester Stlone.
"Going that extra round when you don’t think you can, makes all the difference," it reads.
The boxing franchise has a sentimental meaning to Roxy because it’s how she bonded with her husband-to-be Lee Walton.
She even had a different quote from the film set as the permanent background to her public Twitter page, before it got taken down by her management.
And to further show her love for Lee, Roxanne also has his name permanently written on her left hand – where her engagement ring should be.
Lee popped the question back in August, after just a week of dating Roxanne.
But rather than mark the occasion the traditional way with a diamond sparker, Roxanne opted to get a tattoo tribute instead.
She also has an inking in honour of her mum Monica, who raised her as a single parent.
The phrase ‘Amoowa’ is written on her torso because that’s the affectionate nickname she coined for her mum.
The TV and theatres star also has Johnny Cash written in stylish Italic writing on the back of her neck, as a tribute to the late Country music star.
Roxanne is a huge Cash fan and wanted to take her appreciation made known with the huge inking.
Roxanne’s pre-recorded appearance on Channel 4’s Celebrity Island is set to air Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4.
The scenes were originally filmed in May and have long been scheduled to be broadcast, this weekend – just days after her Celebrity Big Brother furore.
And, according to her fellow co-stars on the Bear Grylls show, there’ll be plenty of raised eyebrows.
