Marilyn Manson collapsed on stage while performing in Houston on Saturday night.
According to reports, upon finishing his signature cover of The Eurythmics‘ “Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This,” his fourth song of the evening, Manson stumbled backwards before collapsing.
The shock-rocker was not in the best shape while taking to the stage at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, his co-headliner Rob Zombie said.
The singer later said that he was suffering from “heat poisoning,” while rumors say “food poisoning” is the cause of his illness.
“Just as the show was about to start the band’s tour manager escorted photographers from the pit and explained that Manson was feeling very ill and did not want his picture taken,” Houston Press reported.
It is not known whether Manson will perform when his co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie resumes Monday in Denver, Colorado.
