Venting her frustration, she wrote: ‘I promised to keep you updated through my entire mastopexy and augmentation but @instagram has made this inexplicably hard.
‘It’s actually highlighted what a ridiculous gap there still is between how men and women are perceived, and how seemingly the opinion is that our breasts have *obviously* NEVER been used for anything other that arousing other people.
‘All of the pictures I have posted have not been at ALL suggestive, and I have had my nipples covered every time, but they have been removed under ‘adult sexual solicitation guidelines’. (See last pic)
‘These pictures of the wonderful @shawnmendes are completely acceptable to Instagram though. Should I put his nipples over my nipples to make it more palatable? Because the emojis aren’t good enough!

Double standard? Lucy compared her own snaps to shirtless photos of Shawn Mendes as she asked why pictures of topless men are not considered sexual but women’s are
She said: ‘Why, as soon as they are rounder and fuller do they become against the guidelines? Is ‘adult sexual solicitation’ defined by the shape of your breasts as well?!
‘I WANT to share my experience of surgery (and recovery) and have had such an incredible response from people everywhere who have had issues with loose skin after significant weight-loss who have been able to ask questions and feel less scared about the process.
‘I tried to find similar information before I had mine done but now I know why it was so bloody hard to find. @instagram, this isn’t right.
‘I’m not even asking to #freethenipple today. I’m asking to be able to share appropriate pictures of MY body and MY scars. Well, if it doesn’t get removed, my scars are fully healed and the stitches are all dissolved.

‘I don’t feel the itchiness anymore (thank GOD) but sometimes still feel a pulling sensation in them. Hard to explain it.
‘It’s crazy how much they change over 6 weeks (and apparently will keep changing!) but it has been such an interesting experience seeing how hardy the human body is.
‘The fact my nipples just went back on blows my mind. We’ll see what happens here.’
Since having surgery in November, Lucy has been very candid about how her new 34D assets have made her feel ‘absolutely incredible’ and shared regular updates.
