Referring directly to the tweet, she said: ‘I read it but didn’t read it properly.

‘I thought it said she’s “nice” and “genuine” and it must have said that at the bottom and I’ve gone through and liked it and not really liked it… Then I saw [what I had done] and I was like WHAT.’

For those who missed it, the original tweet flashed up on the background which gave Lucie another reason to blush.

The original tweet read: ‘OMG Tommy’s jaw will hit the floor when he sees what he’s missed out on, said it from the beginning she was the most beautiful and natural girl in there.’ [sic]

Lucie took a moment to laugh away any awkwardness, with Tommy and his girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague sat just a stone’s throw away from her.

Then, she explained away the mistake as she said she had been trying to encourage more positive comments by liking them.
