Linda Robson puts on a brave face at Wish screening with granddaughter

Linda Robson puts on a brave face as she takes granddaughter Betsy to Disney’s Wish screening after announcing her split from husband Mark Dunford after 33 years

Linda Robson was ever the doting grandmother on Sunday as she took her granddaughter to a screening of Disney’s Wish in London.

The Loose Women panellist, 65, looked in good spirits as she spent some quality time with her six-year-old granddaughter Betsy.

It comes after she said she was ‘keeping busy’ by hanging out with her family as she deals with the aftermath of her split from her husband of 33 years, Mark Dunford.

Linda looked effortlessly stylish at the movie screening in an animal print maxi dress decorated with pink roses.

She teamed it with a black leather jacket for an added edgy contrast and a pair of sparkly flip-flops.

Last week, Linda confirmed that she and Mark had gone their separate ways in an interview with Women magazine.

Confirming the news of their split, Linda said: ‘He’s a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough.

Revealing that she won’t be looking for love again anytime soon, she said: ‘I’m not interested [in dating] honestly. I can’t be a***d with all that.’

She said: ‘I’ve got my family and my kids around me. And I’m going on a cruise with Lesley Joseph in November. I’m keeping busy. I feel fine. I’m just going away on trips all the time.’

Linda and window cleaning company owner Mark, 63, share children Louis, 31, and Roberta, 27. Linda also has a daughter Lauren, 40, with her ex Tony Tyler.

Linda and Mark – who married in 1990 – live together in London but it was claimed recently that they have been having relationship difficulties.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: ‘Linda has been quite open behind the scenes about problems in her marriage.

‘They hit a bit of a rough patch before Christmas but they’ve managed to work through it.

While Linda denied she was in the midst of a ‘marriage crisis’ she admitted that it hasn’t been plain sailing with her long-term love.

When asked about the crisis by The Sun she stated: ‘That’s a load of rubbish.

‘We’re still living together. We both love our kids more than anything else in the world, obviously you have a few hiccups in every marriage.

‘We’ve been married 33 years so it’s not going to be all plain sailing, but we’re still together at the moment.’

Also in attendance at the film screening was Rachel Riley, who brought along her two daughters Maven, three, and two-year-old Noa.

The TV presenter, 37, stood out in a bright pink fluffy jumper, with black jeans and matching trainers, while sporting a sparkly headband.
