Linda Lusardi prayed she would die during ‘horrific’ coronavirus battle that left her vomit blue

Linda Lusardi has returned home after battling coronavirus, also known as covid-19, which left her hospitalised for 10 days. She has now opened up on her “horrific” experience of the deadly bug.

Dancing on Ice star Linda said the excruciating pain she felt as she battled the virus felt like an elephant was sitting on her and her vomit was blue.

Linda, 61, told The Sun: “I started to get a fever, feeling rough and carried on, but it got worse and worse."

“Your head hurts, your brain hurts and you feel like an elephant is sitting on you.

“I remember crawling to the bathroom putting my face on the tile floor, and then almost trying to make myself sick just to get a light relief for five minutes afterwards.

“I was leaning over the edge of the bed coughing and spitting into a bucket. Your vomit is blue.”

Linda’s husband Samuel Kane also tested positive for coronavirus and was treated in the same hospital, but was discharged before Linda, whose symptoms were more severe.

Her husband Sam, 51, added: “We just looked at each other and said, 'Look, we can't take this anymore.
