The documentary had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
‘Originally, we thought we were making a film about the environment,’ directors Fisher and Malcolm said in a statement before Cannes.
‘We realized the best way to get the world to pay attention to climate change is to make a film about people — in this case, race car drivers and an upstart with a vision to disrupt racing series forever.

Both suited up: Leo and Jean-Eric were almost identically dressed in dark grey suits and white shirts with the top buttons left undone
‘The life of sportsmen, the ups and downs, the excitement of racing and the innovative, life-affirming electric technology coupled with racing through the hearts of the biggest cities in the world.
‘This was an incredible, inspiring and thrilling film to make.’ It has yet to set a general release date.
Meanwhile, Leo is presently on the big screen in Once Upon Upon A Time In Hollywood and has three films – Black Hand, Killers Of The Flower Moon, and Roosevelt – lined up plus TV series The Devil In The White City.
