Every month, Netflix removes a bunch of titles from the streaming service whenever licensing deals expire and there are a lot of great movies and TV shows leaving in December 2020.
The one title that seems to be causing the most sadness among Netflix subscribers is Gossip Girl.
The beloved The CW series will be leaving Netflix on December 31, but the show will likely have another home pretty soon. The extension series is heading to HBO Max next year, so it’s probably that the original series ends up there as well. Some are speculating that the show might go to the CBS All Access’ rebranded Paramount+, which launches in 2021.
Some movies leaving the streamer include Heartbreakers, Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, An Education, the Back to the Future franchise, the Indiana Jones franchise, The Notebook, and many more.
