Katie Price is facing a bleak Christmas after losing her £2million “Mucky Mansion” the Sunday People can reveal.
The former glamour model, once reportedly worth £45million, was declared bankrupt at the High Court last month after failing to settle debts estimated at £800,000.
Now Land Registry documents seen by the Sunday People confirm the 41-year-old has to sign her 11-bed mansion over to her trustee.
Katie bought the pile in Horsham, West Sussex, from ex-Cabinet Office Minister Francis Maude in 2014 for £1.3million. Its value then soared.
A bankruptcy charge was placed on the property on December 3.
The star is now thought to be living with on/off boyfriend Kris Boyson, 30, at his home in Kent for a few days a week and crashing with family and friends the rest of the time.
A source said: “Katie faces being made homeless any day if the property is sold now that the bankruptcy charge has been applied.”
A second mortgage was taken out on the mansion in 2015 through her lawyers. But her dwindling income has not been enough to cover £12,302 a month repayments on the home, now believed to be £100,000 in arrears.
The sprawling 1930s pad stands in 12.25 acres and has a swimming pool, tennis courts, stables and paddocks.
The house costs £25,000 a year to heat. At one stage Katie employed a £120,000 team of housekeepers.
When the property appeared on Keith Lemon’s Through The Keyhole in 2017 it was dubbed the “Mucky Mansion” because the pool was dirty and neglected and the tennis courts overgrown.
Earlier this year Katie reportedly told friends she faced being made homeless.
She had her beloved pink Range Rover repossessed in her bankruptcy battle.
And she sold her luxury pink horsebox on eBay for £130,000 less than its value in a desperate attempt to raise funds.
In February she agreed to sell off the mansion as part of a five-year Individual Voluntary Arrangement in a bid to clear debts.
The agreement said: “The property be sold no later than year 4 of the arrangement and if not sold the supervisor shall arrange for the property to be sold at public auction”.
She spoke bullishly of her financial woes in a 2018 episode of her reality TV show Katie Price : My Crazy Life, saying: “I will be out of bankruptcy in a year. It’s not that bad.
“I’ve got nothing to be ashamed of. Loads of people go through it like me. It’s just a matter of going through the motions. This is what has to be.”
But in the latest series of her Quest show, the stark reality was exposed as she revealed she was sleeping on the floor of her son Harvey’s annexe.
She also revealed the renovations to her home had gone “pear-shaped” as ex-husband, Kieran Hayler, slammed her ideas.
Kieran, 32, also lamented the sorry state of the pad he used to share with her – saying he feared leaving his two children to stay there.
Katie has Bunny, five and Jett, six, by Keiran plus Harvey, 17, by Dwight Yorke, and Princess Tiaamii, 12, and Junior, 14, by Peter Andre.
In one episode of her show Katie insisted she was trying to sort her finances and sought help from a financial advisor. He was stunned by her admission she blows £1,000 on food every week.
She is also said to have splurged on cosmetic surgery, holidays and gifts in the months before her bankruptcy.
She left the adviser aghast and said: “I hate talking money. I have never spoken about money. Everyone seems to know what I have got but guess what, no one knows but me.”
The episode also saw her confess to cheating on Kris. Referring to how Kieran cheated on her repeatedly, Kris said: “What Kieran put you through, you’re putting me through.”
Katie and Kris returned from a New York shopping trip on Friday.
