Katie Price denies Harvey in residential care amid reports she’s ‘inconsolable’

Katie Price appeared on daytime television and revealed she was considering moving son Harvey into residential care just weeks ago.

However, the mum-of-five has now publicly denied fresh reports that Harvey is no longer living with her.

After magazine headlines suggested the TV star was "inconsolable," and Harvey had moved an hour away from home, Pricey was quick to shut the story down with a sassy statement.

She wrote: "Despite speculation led by New! magazine Harvey is not in full time residential care.

"He is at school as usual. I am not inconsolable Thankyou for your concern!!"

Katie's statement comes after she revealed Harvey – who is partially sighted, autistic and has genetic disorder Prader Willis syndrome, which means he is hungry all the time – has become harder to manage in his teens.

Speaking to Victoria Derbyshire, she revealed her son had scared the other kids by smashing up windows, TVs and eight iPads this year.

After saying that her son wet the bed twice a night, she also showed the host a huge bag of pills she carried around for him and said that without them he would die.

"It's a danger to himself and for the first time ever now I'm thinking he might have to go residential from Monday to Friday.

"Because he knows if he kicks off then the driver won't take him to school, he's sussed that out and he's missing out on his education. He just wants to be with me all the time."

Her comments come despite an interview with The Guardian in 2013, in which she branded care homes "evil".

"He'll always live at home. He's not leaving me," she said at the time.
