Katherine Schwarzenegger shares heartwarming tribute to new husband Chris Pratt on his 40th birthday: ‘You make life joy filled!’

It’s the big 4-0 for moviestar Chris Pratt.

And his wife, 29-year-old Katherine Schwarzenegger, is making him feel very, very loved.

‘Happy birthday to my darling angel face! So beyond blessed to laugh with you, love you, go on adventures with you, kiss you and live this magical life with you. You make life joy filled! I love you so much! Happy happy,’ she captioned a collage of the two, posted on Instagram.

Schwarzenegger included six sweet photos in the post.

The duo can be seen golfing together, wearing face masks together, biking and even hot tubbing together. 

Pratt posted a similar photo in December, paired with an equally sweet caption for Schwarzenegger’s birthday. 

‘Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love and care,’ it reads.

They also took to social media to share a snap of their wedding in Montecito, California just two weeks ago. 

The love birds tied-the-knot at the five-star resort San Ysidro Ranch – the same place where Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Simpson, and Lily Aldridge have previously said, ‘I do.’

Of their wedding day, Pratt wrote: ‘Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional.’

‘We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us and grateful to Mr. Giorgio Armani who created a once in a lifetime dress for Katherine to wear and for me, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.’ 

Pratt and Anna Faris announced their split in August 2017 after close to a decade of marriage and one child, six-year-old Jack.

The separation was amicable with neither party asking for child or spousal support, and with an agreement to live a few miles apart in order to co-parent.

Faris very nobly congratulated the couple on their engagement in a comment on Instagram, and is rumored to have attended the weekend nuptials.  

Pratt and Schwarzenegger were first spotted enjoying each other’s company during a picnic in Santa Barbara on Father’s Day 2018, though it is believed they had been secretly dating each other prior to this. 

Both devout Christians, the wholesome twosome attended church services together all throughout the first summer of their courtship.

The Jurassic World actor brought his son along on one occasion when things were still fairly new. 

He apparently knew he wanted to be exclusive with Schwarzenegger from the start. 

The couple announced their engagement on January 14 with an Instagram post showcasing the engagement ring. 

‘Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes! I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!’
