We can’t help but feel for Meghan Markle in her ongoing situation — and apparently, Kate Middleton is right there with us!
According to an insider close to the royal fam who spoke about the whole controversy to Us Weekly for their newest issue, Duchess Kate “hates seeing” Prince Harry and his beautiful American wife “so miserable” as they continue to battle against the British press.
The source revealed more about Prince William‘s partner and her apparent empathy for the 38-year-old new mother to Master Archie, noting that even though Kate has been worried about Meghan, she’s still trying to keep a low profile (below):
“While Kate’s concerned about Harry and Meghan’s well-being, she tries to stay out of the drama.”
That’s fine but… maybe it’d help Meghan (and Harry, and William) to throw your hat in the ring and show your support publicly?! Just saying! Still, it’s nice to know Kate cares.
And the insider revealed more about the royal momma of three, sharing her bigger concern is actually the future of the sometimes-fractured relationship between Harry and William. The scoop (below):
“Kate hopes William and Harry will eventually heal the rift and let bygones be bygones. The way she sees it, life’s too short to make enemies – especially with loved ones. She’s very levelheaded like that. Kate’s a family girl.”
Interesting!
The 37-year-old has a lot on her proverbial plate to work on here, especially as far as William and Harry’s often contentious relationship is concerned. As for Meghan and the media… well, we suppose any support Kate can offer (public or not) is probably better than nothing.
This all comes after a new report on Wednesday claimed the Queen is fed up with her grandson and his new wife, with one RadarOnline.com source saying the matriarch is pleased they’d want to leave their royal titles!
Of course, we’re speculative, but the insider dished:
“She stripped them of their royal titles, their newly renovated home, Frogmore Cottage — and about $15 million in financial support! Then the queen removed a photo of the couple that had a prominent spot in her audience room in Buckingham Palace. Meghan’s royal fairy tale just exploded in her face.”
Regardless of whether or not this is how it went down, the American is clearly going through a rough time right now, and it’s not exactly being helped much by what she and Harry see as a particularly aggressive and ruthless British media establishment.
It doesn’t appear like any of that will let up any time soon, though, and so we wonder about the possibility of future changes to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s daily lives in order to give them some breathing room.
