Kaia Gerber, 18, dyes her own hair pink: ‘I never thought I would have colored hair but here we are’
Kaia Gerber has documented her maiden hair coloring voyage.
The natural brunette, who in recent times has rocked a blonde ‘do, took to Instagram to show herself coloring her own hair pink on Tuesday.
‘I never thought I would have colored hair but here we are,’ she told stylist Guido Palau, who guided the 18-year-old through the process.

The teen beauty also talked about her early -and surprising- hairspiration.
‘Honestly, the first time I had to cut my hair was because I wanted to look like Kurt Cobain,’ said the daughter of models Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.
The Nirvana frontman was known for his long, shaggy cuts and frequently colored his hair.

Kaia originally lightened her brunette tresses back in April to alleviate her quarantine boredom, and has been dying it lighter ever since.
The starlet went a step further on Saturday as she debuted new bleached blonde locks in a stunning Instagram closeup.
‘zoom bleach,’ she wrote in the caption, referencing the popular video conferencing app that’s been a go-to for many amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Kaia matched her blonde hair to her ‘Kaia’ necklace and a gold pendant draped around her neck, and she kept her outfit simple with a white linen shirt that was unbuttoned down to her cleavage.
The new look was a hit with her Instagram followers, including Queer Eye’s Tan France, who commented: ‘GORG.’
The runway star’s hair has been getting lighter in recent months, and she showed off a fully blonde look while attending a Black Lives Matter protest with her friend Cara Delevingne last month.
