Jonnie Irwin on preparing his ‘digital legacy’ for his children
Former A Place In The Sun presenter Jonnie Irwin, 49, had an action-packed day with the youngsters.
The star took to Instagram yesterday and shared a number of photos alongside his adorable three children.
The presenter is currently battling lung cancer that has spread to his brain, after being diagnosed with the disease in 2020.
On his Instagram, Jonnie posted a photo of himself looking stylish as he wore a black basketball cap with a beige shirt, jeans and Converse, whilst being surrounded by his three young boys Rex, three, and twins Rafa and Cormac, two.
The adorable youngsters had been sure to spoil their father for his special day as they each got him a card and plenty of chocolate, including a large-sized Toblerone.
Jonnie typed in view of his 171,000 followers: “Had the best Father’s Day ever. Breakfast of Chocolate Guinness cake baked expertly.
“My brilliant wife then gave cards from the boys and I had a visit from my brother-in-law for a brief pillion ride back in time to enjoy some of the highs and lows of the Ashes ending in more cake with more family washed down by a drop of champers. #fathersday.” (sic)
In response, his fans were all delighted he had enjoyed the day with his family, as they flocked to the comment section to send their support.
One said: “Nice to see you had a lovely Father’s Day special quality time spent with your lovely family. “ (sic)
A second replied: “Happiest of Father’s Day Jonnie. Precious memories to hold on to. Lots of love and best wishes from Sligo, North West of Ireland.”
