The name of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s second daughter’s name has finally been revealed amid the former couple’s contentious divorce.
According to custody filings, obtained by Page Six, the singer, 34, and two-time Emmy winner, 27, reportedly have a 14-month-old little girl called Delphine.
Delphine comes from the Greek word delphís, which translates to ‘dolphin’ in English and is pronounced ‘del-feen.’
The rare moniker has never made it to the top 1000 names list, and previously peaked, at 2,893, in 2015.
In 2021, only 41 babies per million were given the name, according to MomJunction.

The site noted that famous people with the name include French model, Delphine Wespiser, Delphine Claire Beltiane Seyrig, best known for her films Last Year at Marienbad and Francois Truffaut and French professional footballer Delphine Gleize.
The moniker has been included in a number of TV series like Orphan Black, the 2018 action thriller movie Atomic Blonde and the novel, Delphine, by Germaine de Staël.
While they have not confirmed the name or its significance, the duo lived in Miami, Florida, home to the Miami Dolphins football team, in 2021.
The pair ultimately sold their waterfront mansion for a whopping $15 million in 2023.
Earlier this month, in court documents, obtained by DailyMail, their two children including their eldest Willa, three, were referred to by their initials, W.J, and D.J.
Both the Game of Thrones actress and her estranged spouse have revealed very little about either of their little ones.
On Monday, Turner and Jonas agreed to temporarily keep their children in New York, according to court documents.
Just days after the actress, 27, demanded her estranged husband, 34, return their two young daughters to England, the pair agreed to an interim consent order that bans both parties from removing the kids from the state.

Unexpected choice: Delphine comes from the Greek word delphís, which translates to ‘dolphin’ in English and is pronounced ‘del-feen’ (seen in Jonas and Turner seen posing on the red carpet with her growing belly for the 2022 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art)
The court agreement, filed on Monday and obtained by DailyMail.com, states that their two daughters must remain in New York’s Southern or Eastern Districts – an area which covers New York City, the Hudson Valley and Long Island.
According to the filing, Sophie and Joe ‘have agreed to the entry of the attached proposed Interim Consent Order, without prejudice to either party’s claims and defenses, prohibiting the removal of the parties’ children from the jurisdictions… pending further order of this Court.’
The court order was filed to ‘protect the well-being of the (children) involved’, the document filed by Turner’s lawyer Stephen Cullen states.
But it is also to ‘prevent the (children’s) further removal or concealment before the final disposition of the petition.’

The filing comes as an apparent truce between the exes after exchanging allegations against each other over the last two weeks.
A draft copy of the order must now be signed by Judge Katherine Polk Failla, who is overseeing the case.
It cites the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and the International Child Abduction Remedies Act as the law governing the dispute.
The first hearing is due to take place at the federal court in Manhattan on October 3.

The filing comes just a few days after Jonas issued a sensational rebuttal of estranged wife’s claims after she accused him of withholding their children’s passports and refusing to let them travel to see her in the UK.
Turner on Thursday filed a lawsuit in order to try and move their two children back to her native England.
After this news emerged, a representative for Jonas said in a statement to DailyMail.com that the singer was seeking ‘shared parenting’ with the Game Of Thrones star and added: ‘The children were not abducted.’
‘This is an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending. When language like ‘abduction’ is used, it is misleading at best, and a serious abuse of the legal system at worst. The children were not abducted,’ the representative said.
‘After being in Joe’s care for the past three months at the agreement of both parties, the children are currently with their mother. Sophie is making this claim only to move the divorce proceedings to the UK and to remove the children from the U.S. permanently.’
Jonas’s representative also said the singer had ‘already disavowed any and all statements purportedly made on his behalf that were disparaging of Sophie.’
‘They were made without his approval and are not consistent with his views. His wish is that Sophie reconsider her harsh legal position and move forward in a more constructive and private manner,’ the statement said.

‘His only concern is the well-being of his children.’
The representative also denied Turner’s allegation that she did not know he was filing for divorce.
‘After multiple conversations with Sophie, Joe initiated divorce proceedings in Florida, as Florida is the appropriate jurisdiction for the case. Sophie was aware that Joe was going to file for divorce,’ the representative said.
‘The Florida Court has already entered an order that restricts both parents from relocating the children. Sophie was served with this order on September 6, 2023, more than two weeks ago.’
Further Jonas’s representative said the former couple had a ‘cordial meeting this past Sunday in New York,’ where Turner had arrived to be with their children.
‘They have been with her since that meeting. Joe’s impression of the meeting was that they had reached an understanding that they would work together towards an amicable co-parenting setup,’ the statement said.

‘Less than 24 hours later, Sophie advised that she wanted to take the children permanently to the UK. In documents filed to the US District Court in New York on Thursday, the 27-year-old Game Of Thrones alum is petitioning ‘for the return of children to England.’
‘Petitioner, Sophie Belinda Turner (the “Mother”), by and through her undersigned attorneys, files this Verified Petition for Return of Children to England (the “Petition”), against the Respondent, Joseph Adam Jonas (the “Father”), the court filing reads.
Jonas and Turner sold their stunning waterfront mansion in Miami for $15 million
Following news of the filing, Turner was spotted leaving a New York hotel on Thursday flanked by her friend, Australian actress Olivia DeJonge.
The couple’s messy separation was thrust into the spotlight earlier this month when Jonas – who is currently on tour with the Jonas Brothers – filed for divorce in Miami, Florida.
The couple had been married for four years and welcomed their second daughter, identified only as ‘D.J.’ in July 2022.
Turner also alleges that the former couple had plans for her and the children to join Jonas and his family on his band’s US tour before returning to the UK where they would live in a rental property.
She claimed they would move into a new home in the UK when it was completed in December of this year.
In preparation for their relocation to the UK, the couple listed their family home in Miami, which sold for $15million earlier this year.
‘On or about April 10, 2023, the family relocated to England’ and have been staying in rentals as they awaited to move into their new home, according to the filing.
The actress also disputed Jonas’s claim in his divorce filings that the children had lived in Florida for six months before announcing their split.
Full statement from Joe Jonas:

‘Joe is seeking shared parenting with the kids so that they are raised by both their mother and father, and is of course also okay with the kids being raised both in the U.S. and the UK. The children were born in the U.S. and have spent the vast majority of their lives in the U.S. They are American citizens.
