Jenni “JWoww” Farley considered walking away from Jersey Shore for her son. In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Farley opened up about her 2-year-old son Greyson’s developmental delay.
“People reassured me he would talk around one to one-and-a-half years old,” Farley, 32, told Radar. “It came down to him not responding to words that grew my concern. I would ask my husband Roger, ‘Have you seen him respond to his name?’ It was more about him not putting words together and concepts.”
When Greyson turned two years old, Farley sought help. He is currently in behavior and occupational therapy three times a week.

“Technically we don’t know if it’s a speech issue cause he doesn’t speak,” she explained. “We’re trying to make him understand what words are. He started saying blue. It’s his favorite color. He knows what blue is. He’s learning sign language. We’re teaching him to say open. It helps tremendously.”
Farley opened up about her son’s struggle on Jersey Shore Family Vacation Part 2.
“I did get mom guilt, that’s why I mentioned it on the show,” she said. “I never thought about putting his story on air. It was in case I had to walk away from Jersey Shore. They need a reason for me leaving. You can’t just disappear.”

Farley, who is also mother to daughter Meilani, 4, with Mathews, insisted her co-stars have been supportive.
“They check up on him almost every day,” she said. “We talk in the group chat every single day.”
Farley is grateful that she shared her son’s story on the MTV show and on her YouTube channel.

“I never knew it was going to be this amazing story that caught on with so many families,” she shared. “I got advice from fans.”
In addition to therapy, Farley has implemented a Keto-friendly diet in her household. She is also launching Naturally Woww.
“A lot of times companies that are all-natural or good for your children have things in there products that are harmful and could affect children,” she explained. “The top companies in baby market don’t have the best quality products. I am doing my own research with my own line called Naturally Woww. It will have healthy ingredients that are not harmful for mothers and children.”
