Want to know the secret to a long and happy marriage? Just ask Jenna Elfman. She and her husband Bodhi Elfman have been married for 23 years, and according to Page Six, it’s because they’re both #thots4thetans. Jenna recently appeared on some talk show nobody’s ever heard of (People Magazine’s “Chatter”? Anyone? Didn’t think so. I thought if you boosted Scientology, they’d in turn boost your career) and proclaimed that she and Bodhi’s mutual love of Thetan scented candles and wholesale rejection of antipsychotics are what keep the romance alive. Or if not the romance alive, keep the contract valid.
Page Six reports:
“Well, I’ve been a Scientologist for 28 years and that’s a huge part of what helps us keep our communication going and our relationship,”
“We’ve never cheated on each other, we’ve never broken up. We hang in there, raising children, maintaining my sanity in a crazy world. Our world is crazy, it’s getting crazier and Hollywood is the ne plus ultra of crazy.”
And we know that’s the truth. Staying on the right side of crazy has been Jenna’s ne plus ultra struggle for years. What? She’s the one who brought up her mental health, not me! In the interview, Jenna went on to say that the organization offers many courses to married couples and that’s what’s helped her marriage stay strong for so long and not the fact that she follows the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard and David Miscavige who will disappear a bitch before letting her divorce his ass. Jenna also had some thoughts critics of Scientology, or “bigots”, as she calls them/me.
“I think that anything that works tends to get attacked,” she said when asked her thoughts on the criticisms of Scientology. “It’s been so workable for me.”
“I think people should just check it out for themselves and not believe everything they hear or read on the internet.”
She then directed the audience to go to the internet and read all about it. Only, don’t look at the actual internet. Skip the unreliable search results and and go directly to:
