Jeff Brazier’s estranged wife has hinted that the couple parted ways a whole year before the TV star officially announced they pair had split.
Jeff, 43, who is best known for his presenting work on This Morning and The X Factor, announced the pair's shocking split late last year, after nine years together.
However, his ex-wife, Kate Dwyer, 32, has now hinted that she had actually parted ways with the presenter long before that, as she implied she had been single for around a year in a recent Instagram post.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, Kate shared a snap of herself posing next to a pal as she celebrated the friend's birthday.
Alongside the image she then wrote: "Happy Birthday to my most frequently contact on WhatsApp," Kate gushed to her friend as she celebrated her special day.
"Getting paid to sit next to you and annoy you on the daily is an honour. Thanks for letting me live in your front room for the last year.”
Jeff, who raised his sons Bobby 19, and Freddie 18, following the death of his ex girlfriend Jade Goody in 2009, hasn’t shared any post about Kate since July 2022, when he shared a sweet post to mark her birthday.
Kate meanwhile, last posted any mention of Jeff last year, as she shared a photo of the family to mark Christmas Day.
Aside from that, she has remained notably tight lipped about the relationship, following Jeff’s public announcement that their marriage had dissolved.
In a lengthy post addressing the subject in December last year, Jeff wrote: "A moment to practice what I preach and start the new week with honesty.
"One for the smilers and eternally positive individuals who don’t often afford themselves the right to share their own vulnerabilities," he wrote.
"I have so much to be grateful for and I appreciate facing the lessons I need to grow but this year has been challenging to say the least."
He continued to reveal: "My 9 year relationship ended earlier in the year and I’ve been working through that on top of supporting someone close to me who is going through something difficult.
"The boys and I have recently moved home to a new area & I spend most of the time alone as the boys obviously have their own things going on.”
As well as revealing that he had left the family home, Jeff also revealed that there was still further change afoot as he continued: "It’s been constant change this year and I’m good with adapting but the combination of things have left me low at times and I’ve honestly never felt loneliness like it. Can we put Christmas back a few months?!
"I have lots of great friends and I know they’re a phone call away but sometimes I find it hard to admit I’m struggling with all of the change preferring just to keep working through it myself. I’m a bit too good at that."
Jeff then concluded the candid post saying: "There was always going to come a day when the boys didn’t want or need me so much and I thought I’d be more than ok with having all this time on my hands!"
