Jacquie Beltrao, 56, has taken to Twitter to share updates on her progress as she goes through treatment for breast cancer. Earlier today, the Sky Sports presenter shared some more news as she posted a photo of her back in hospital to her followers.

Jacquie posted the tweet out to her 87,700 followers, explaining how she was back for a bone injection.

Her caption reassured fans that she “trusted the science.”

The full caption read: “Bone injection day – it takes half an hour – I have no idea what’s in it but I trust the science.

“It’s my choice but I’ve always found survival to be the key to saying ‘yes’ to treatment.

“You demystify the whole process of treatment. You are a great example of how to live life.

“Continued good luck to you and family. You are a true inspiration.”

“Cancer has fortunately never touched my life so far, but I pray if it does we are able to be awesome as you.

“You light up the news and you light up twitter….. thankyou….”

Jacqui beat cancer for the first time in 2014.

However, The Sky News presenter said that it came back during lockdown.

Jacqui explained to The Sun in November that she found a small lump near her collarbone during 2020.

She said: “In June 2020, I was absolutely floored when I discovered a small lump below my right collarbone.

“Even though it was up near my neck, it was still the breast tissue, and I was told it was stage four breast cancer.

“Eduardo was on a call when I got the results from my doctor and I ran into the room crying: ‘How can this be happening to me again?’”

The presenter continued, saying she feels that cancer never really “goes away” and that it is “sneaky.”

The star’s most recent scan showed that her cancer was no longer there, but Jacqcui said she knows this doesn’t mean she is fully cured.
