Were my cramped Manhattan apartment large enough to house any plant larger than the 3-inch succulent on my nightstand, I would definitely have a Christmas tree. And atop that Christmas tree, I would definitely place a miniaturized version of Jennifer Lopez wearing this glittery Balmain outfit.

Is there anything more angelic, more divine, than Our Lady of “Dinero” in a iridescent mini dress? Imagine, a tree strung with ornaments, lights, popcorn (if you’re into that sort of thing) and tinsel, and there, at its peak smiling down upon the good girls and boys, a glittering J. Lo blessin’ the family in six-inch Louboutin stilettos.
The ensemble only proves that Lopez is the queen of style, highlighting her ability to pivot from whale tail-chic to angel diva in less than one week’s time.

Since my Christmas tree dreams have been thwarted by closet-sized Manhattan real estate, for now I’ll have to let the image above, posted by one half of Lopez’s styling duo, Mariel Haenn, hold me over. Not to fret, the image was taken behind-the-scenes at a photoshoot for NBC’s World of Dance, so there will be more pics to come.
