The party didn’t stop when the VMAs ended Monday night.
Following Jennifer Lopez‘s headline-making performance celebrating her Video Vanguard Award, the “Dinero” singer made her way downtown to Beauty & Essex, where her longtime manager and pal, Benny Medina, threw her a star-studded bash.
Page Six has learned that the New York City hot spot was filled with her iconic memorabilia, including platinum gold albums, costumes, jeweled Yankees hats and jerseys, microphones, magazine covers and more. Medina surprised Lopez, who attended with beau Alex Rodriguez, with a “heartfelt speech” about her journey from the Bronx to becoming the pop icon she is today.
She was also presented with a life-size cake in the shape of the Video Vanguard Award.
Party attendees included Rita Ora, G-Eazy, Olivia Munn, Winnie Harlow, Iggy Azalea, Keegan-Michael Key, Liam Payne, Scooter Braun and more. Tiffany Haddish also had a dance-off with choreographer Jacquel Knight as the crowd gathered around to watch.
