Ioan Gruffudd and his girlfriend Bianca Wallace have been spending time in Australia with her family and friends as the actress shared a series of loved-up snaps.

The Australian actress posted a glimpse of their recent trip on her Instagram page as the smitten couple posed for pictures with her loved ones.

In one snap, Bianca and Ioan, 49, beamed broadly for the camera as they enjoyed dinner out at a restaurant, with the actress resting an affectionate arm on her man.

Bianca captioned the images: ‘It was a goodbye, hello and goodbye again… Or as my Mum says, it’s never goodbye, just ‘cheerio’.

Earlier this month, Bianca shared a heartfelt message to Ioan as she marked his 49th birthday.

The actress took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of her partner as she claimed the world is a ‘better place because of you and your kind, gentle heart.’

Her kind words come amid what is no doubt a frustrating time for Ioan, who has failed to come to an agreement amid his bitter custody battle with estranged wife Alice Evans over their daughters Elsie, eight, and Ella, 12.

Bianca – who suffers with multiple sclerosis – made no reference to the recent drama but said that the pair had ‘been through more than most in such a short time together’ in her post.

Alongside a picture of Ioan standing on a diving board in Cannes, she penned: ‘To the most precious man on the planet… on my new favourite date! Happy birthday to you, my love.

Ioan went Instagram official with new girlfriend Bianca last October with a post saying: ‘Thank you for making me smile again.’

Their relationship was met with fury by estranged wife Alice, who wrote at the time: ‘So it turns out my husband, after two years of telling me I’m a bad person and I’m not exciting and he no longer wants to have sex with me . . . has been in a relationship for three years behind my back.’

Neither Bianca or Ioan addressed the cheating allegations publicly but a wardrobe assistant who worked with the pair on the Australian series Harrow denied claims of an affair, claiming that the couple had given her permission to speak out.

It was recently revealed that Ioan and ex Alice, 54, have seemingly failed to come to an agreement amid their bitter custody battle.

In July, the Liar actor filed for joint custody of his two daughters and asked for custody and visitation rights to see them amid his acrimonious split with his estranged wife.

However, according to court documents, the former couple have failed to settle their differences in family court, despite the help of a mediator.

It comes weeks after Ioan also filed a restraining order obtained against Alice, which bans her from mentioning him on social media for three years following her bitter online rants against him and girlfriend Bianca Wallace.

The publicly available documents show that Ioan and Alice’s meeting was set for Wednesday 31 August and states that mediation had taken place but that ‘no agreement’ had been reached.

It also stated that the former couple had another appointment set for Tuesday 11 October at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles as they continued to try to come to an arrangement over their children.

The document goes on to confirm that that both Ioan and Alice have completed the mandatory Our Children First program.

War: In July, the Liar actor, 48, filed for joint custody of his two daughters Elsie, 8, and Ella, 12, and asked for custody and visitation rights to see them amid his acrimonious split with his estranged wife, 54 (Ioan, Alice and their and daughters pictured )

The Superior Court of Los Angeles states of the program that: ‘Parents are required by law to attend a mediation orientation/parent education program and a mediation session prior to appearing at an Order to Show Cause or Trial regarding the custody and/or visitation of their children.’

MailOnline have contacted representatives of Ioan and Alice for comment.

Ioan initially has filed for joint custody of his two daughters, months after his estranged wife Alice filed for sole custody amid their bitter divorce.

As well as requesting visitation rights, he claimed in the filing that Alice had been purposely trying to cut communication between him and the children.

He also petitioned that the girls attend in-person therapy and reunification therapy via zoom with him pending court-ordered mediation about custody.

In the filing, Ioan reiterated allegations that Alice had been verbally abusing during their 14-year marriage, and ‘undermin[ing him] in front of the girls throughout their lives.’

Tension: However, according to court documents, the former couple have failed to settle their differences in family court, despite the help of a mediator

‘Alice made fun of my appearance often, making hair-loss comments and telling me I had ‘saggy-vagina eyes,” court papers read.

He went on to claim that Alice ‘has inflicted serious emotional harm on Ella and Elsie by her statements and by interfering in my relationship with them.’

In a video before the former couple’s separation in January 2021, which Ioan presented as evidence in the filing, Evans allegedly told Ella she would be ‘getting a new daddy.’

‘In a FaceTime I had with the girls on March 3, Ella said Alice falsely told her that I wanted Alice to commit suicide, and that Ella probably would not have a mummy anymore,’ Gruffudd wrote in the petition.

‘Ella told me, ‘Daddy, this is making me very sad,’ and, ‘if I don’t agree with her, apparently I am a bad daughter.’

Alice was married to Ioan for 14 years before their messy split last year and they are involved in a lengthy court case in which he accused her of domestic abuse.

Ioan has also recently taken out a restraining order against Alice in which he hoped the new restrictions would end the public falling out between the pair, whose acrimonious split in March 2021 and consequent slanging matches threatened to overshadow their respective careers.
