Inside John Torode and Lisa Faulkner’s stunning London home: TV couple film their cooking show in a stunning pad boasting chic glass doors, exposed brick walls and a marble kitchen island

They tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in October 2019 and have had a ‘wonderful success’ with their morning cooking show, Weekend Kitchen.

And John Torode and Lisa Faulkner have shared a glimpse inside their stunning London home where the series is filmed, flaunting their chic kitchen which boasts wooden floors and exposed brick walls.

The Australian chef, 54, and former EastEnders actress, 47, have ensured that their space is perfect for preparing impressive meals by including a wooden centerpiece island with a white and grey marble top.

Also seen in the kitchen are plenty of cupboards for storing the celebrity chefs’ cooking essentials and a selection of pretty jugs and vases for fresh flowers.

The kitchen is flooded with light from a pair of statement glass doors which open onto a garden, and provide the perfect picture spot for Lisa.

Other snaps shared on social media show the happy couple’s bathroom which is decorated with patterned tiles and a trendy red and cream rug – which their pups Otto and Rory appeared particularly taken with.

While a picture of their large wooden dining table showed matching china and a delicious selection of fresh sushi perfect for entertaining guests.

On New Year’s Day John took to Instagram to thank his and Lisa’s fans for their support over 2019, writing that it had been a ‘beauty’ as he got to marry his ‘love’. 

He added: ‘John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen has been a wonderful success thanks to all of you. Thank you for watching and we LOVE all the pics of what you are cooking too. So in 2020, don’t stop. Happy New Year everyone.’

John and Lisa married in a romantic autumnal ceremony at Aynhoe Park in Northamptonshire.  They celebrated their one month anniversary at the end of November where they both shared heartfelt posts to each other. 

The celebrity chef gushed over his love with a post which read: ‘Married 4 weeks today.. our first dance. B****y hell you are gorgeous, properly gorgeous. Love you.’  

Spacious: Another area of their home also boasts plenty of storage space and gives another glimpse of a small garden, which had two reindeer statues in for the festive season


Light: The couple appear to have kept their decor simple throughout the home, opting for bright clean colours (left Lisa in an airy hallway) and even continued this classic theme through to their dining room china (right a set table)

Well stocked: Lisa’s glass cupboards are well stocked with plates for visitors and she has often shared snaps of her chic mugs

Design: Lisa’s kitchen has exposed brick walls throughout and she has added a few house plants to brighten up the space

In the image, John held Lisa in a close embrace on the dance floor as they slow danced in front of their wedding guests on their special day. 

The room was stunningly lit with dazzling white and purple lights while the couple’s photographer stood in the background hoping to get the perfect shot.

Lisa has also treated her social media followers to a look at her dazzling wedding ring in an image posted to Instagram.

The former EastEnders actress showed off her diamond band and fresh manicure as she admitted she’s had to ‘look after my hands’ since tying the knot to John.

Lisa’s flashy ring featured unique floral-inspired diamonds, while the shoulder of the jewellery was complete with a sculpted swirl design.

Holding her hands against a backdrop of white petals, the media personality captioned the image: ‘I’ve never been one to look after my hands and especially not my nails but since I got engaged and then married.

‘I’m trying to look after them!! Thank you for helping me and doing such a lovely manicure @finishingtouchbarnet’.

Lisa also gave fans insight into their romantic countryside wedding with striking images.

The blushing bride donned a gown that was customisable to create two unique looks, with Lisa looking equally radiant in both.

And the first look at the couple’s cake was also revealed, which was no doubt one of the big factors for BBC star John.

In a picture shared by Lisa’s sister Victoria, the blonde beauty dazzled in a second version of her glamorous gown.

True love: John shared a sweet tribute to his ‘properly gorgeous’ wife as he posted a snap of their first dance to mark their one-month wedding anniversary back in November

For the ceremony, Lisa wore a stunning A-line satin wedding dress with a lace overlay on the bodice featuring capped sleeves and a high neck.

Yet, mixing things up for the reception, Lisa removed the lace trim to expose the gown’s sweetheart neckline and spaghetti strap bodice.

Lisa and John, who have been dating since 2015, tied the knot at the swanky Aynhoe Park in Banbury in front of a host of celebrity friends and family.
