The singers, who found fame as members of Take That, performed the duet on their webcams as they sang a rendition of their 2010 single Shame.

Alongside the video, Gary wrote: ‘Sorry to have made you wait so long for this one. Yes the dynamic duo return.

‘Thank you @robbiewilliams for taking the time to be part of this. Big hugs (virtually of course) #thecroonersessions.’

The pair, who both shared the video on social media, can be seen singing in their homes with Gary also performing on the keyboard.

Gary and Robbie, 46, co-wrote Shame together for Robbie’s second greatest hits album, In and Out of Consciousness: Greatest Hits 1990-2010.

The song was the first time the pair collaborated on a song together solely and it was also the first time they had worked together since Robbie left Take That in 1995.

The new duet clearly delighted fans as the video has notched up an impressive 5.8million views on Facebook and over 600,000 on Gary’s Twitter.

Gary has been uploading several renditions of hits to his Facebook page, dubbing them The Crooner Sessions.

The series has seen him collaborate with some of the biggest names in music, including Cliff Richard, Brian May, and Lulu.

He’s also highlighted less famous faces in his fan sessions, including with 12-year-old Alex Hemingway, the nephew of Drum Major Oxley, who died in a motorbike crash at Cypriot Army base in 2016.
