I’m A Celebrity’s Caitlyn Jenner breaks down in tears and says she ‘missed her family terribly’ as NO-ONE comes to meet the former Olympian during double elimination with Nadine Coyle
Caitlyn Jenner and Nadine Coyle have become the seventh and eighth stars to be evicted from the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
The pair missed out on a place in the semi-final after being given their marching orders in a double elimination on Friday night.
After Ant and Dec announced the news, reality star Caitlyn, 70, broke down in tears and declared she ‘missed my family terribly’ following almost three weeks in the jungle – but in a devastating twist, not a single member of her brood came out to greet her amid her exit.

Joining the Geordie duo in the studio, Caitlyn broke down in tears as she was overcome with emotion, telling the pair that ‘it was tough’.
Speaking to the pair, she said: ‘It was tough. I came here to test myself, obviously I did this show 16 years ago, turned 70 and thought what a challenge. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy.’
Ant and Dec passed her a tissue as she struggled to hold back the tears as things became too much for the star.
Explaining how difficult the beginning was, she choked: ‘The first night, I didn’t think I’d make it to next night.’

‘There wasn’t one person who was causing any trouble… I can’t believe I made it all the way to three weeks and so it was great. I hate to leave them behind but I’m ready to get out.’
Comparing her time to when she took part in the show, as Bruce, 16 years ago, Caitlyn revealed that this time round was tougher as she was in the jungle ‘longer’.
She confessed that as she sat in camp on one of the first nights, she looked around and asked herself ‘How am I going to do this?’
Ant and Dec then touched on her famous family, with the star stating: ‘I miss them terribly.’

She then joked she prefers jungle life, quipping: ‘Being in the jungle is probably easier than spending it with my family!’
She continued: ‘I’m pulled every direction … but it’ll be great. I made sure after this I didn’t schedule anything until January so I’ve got the rest of the month off and it was quite an experience to go through.
‘Am I glad it’s over? Yeah. I’ve had enough.’
Finally when asked by the presenters who she’d like to win, Caitlyn revealed that she’d like to see Roman Kemp crowned King of the Jungle.

And, during Thursday’s instalment of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Caitlyn Jenner was snubbed once again by Kendall and Kylie, as they failed to send a note to their father, while busy living it up on separate jaunts with friends.
While her fellow celebs received messages from their children and partners, Caitlyn received a letter from an unnamed person, believed to be Sophia Hutchins, which told the Olympian of her dogs pining after her.

‘The dogs and I miss you so much, we decorated the house but Baxter tore the lights off the trees already so it’s waiting for you to fix it.’
Later on, while in the Bush Telegraph, Caitlyn tearfully admitted: ‘I think in some ways, although it’s really emotional, it does lift the morale and makes you appreciate them so much more when you get out.’
