Heartbroken Lisa Armstrong flanked by friends at first post-split wedding

This year and last have proved to be absolute stinkers for Lisa Armstrong after her husband Ant McPartlin walked out and subsequently got with their former PA Anne-Marie Corbett.

But despite her heartbreak, Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist Lisa was absolutely killing it on Saturday when she flew solo at a friend’s wedding.

Proving plus ones are overrated, the 41-year-old looked stunning as she was instead flanked by her besties.

Wearing a cute knee-length dress with her platinum hair worn in a chic centre part, the star grinned from ear-to-ear as she posed with her pals at fellow make-up artist Ayse Certel’s wedding.

"Love you all!! Congrats Ayse. beautifulbride beautifulwedding friends x" she tweeted.

And fans were loving her look, with one commenting, "you are looking absolutely incredible!!!! Keep doing you babe."

"BEAUTIFUL picture. Not much makes me happier than seeing fabulous female friends. Thanks for sharing. Made me smile during a rubbish time xx" agreed another.

"Lisa you look amazing! Good to see you’ve got some ooomph back and the sparkle in your eyes returning x" commented yet another supporter.

Meanwhile, this weekend a fan posted a shot of troubled Ant – who entered rehab for a second time in March after being convicted of drink driving – leaving fans shocked over his weary appearance.

“I don’t see that sparkle in his eyes. Something isn’t right,” one person commented on the snap from Wimbledon.

“He looks very tired," added another, while one fretted, “God, I hope he’s OK.”

Apart from the odd fan sighting and night out with Declan Donnelly, Anne-Marie and the rest of their posse, Ant, 42, has been keeping a low profile.

But that didn’t stop Lisa’s former Deuce bandmate Craig Young going in on him the other day.

Commenting on an opinion piece which called the TV star ‘rather unpleasant’, the singer wrote, "I couldn’t agree more. He may have issues, but ultimately he is responsible for his appalling behaviour. I do believe drugs and alcohol addiction is an illness but it’s not an excuse for such utter disregard for good humans.

"Go back to rehab, lose the enablers, the cheaters and arselickers. Take responsibility for your actions.

"Once you have done the work in a few years you might come to realize the pain you have caused and the irreparable wounds that can’t heal, and you will no doubt be full of remorse. But something tells me it might be too late. #sorrynotsorry.’"
