Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed why she still hasn’t moved in with her new husband Brad Falchuk, despite being married for three months.
The Oscar winner, 46, and her TV writer and producer husband, 48, haven’t yet moved into the same house because they’re trying their best to navigate blending their family together.
The actress has admitted that wanting to be respectful of their children has stopped them taking the step so far.
GOOP founder Gwyneth shares kids Apple, 14, and Moses, 12, with ex-husband Chris Martin, of Coldplay fame, and Brad shares children Brody and Isabella with his ex-wife Suzanne Bukinik.
Gwyneth told WSJ magazine: "I’ve never been a stepmother before. I don’t know how to do it.
"We are still doing it in our own way. With teenage kids, you’ve got to tread lightly. It’s pretty intense, the teenage thing."
The Iron Man star also revealed that her ex Chris still has a room at her house.
They’ve remained very close ever since they "consciously uncoupled" in 2014 after 11 years of marriage.
Gwyneth met Brad in 2014 after taking on the role of Holly Holliday in his TV show Glee.
She added to the mag: "I feel like we are probably better equipped to choose our life partner when we are halfway through life.
"But generally, we have to pick our spouses a lot earlier because of the whole procreation piece."
The star has previously admitted that she never thought she’d get married again before meeting Brad.
She told Marie Claire: "For a while, I thought, I don’t know if I’d ever do it again.
"I have my kids, what’s the point? And then I met this incredible man, who made me think, no, this person is worth making this commitment to. I’m very much the marrying kind.
"I love being a wife. I love making a home."
