Garth Brooks announced that Notre Dame students can attend an exclusive sound check event at no cost on the eve of his massive upcoming show at the University on October 20.
“Notre Dame is a chapter in the next book of our lives,” Brooks said during his Inside Studio G Facebook Live chat Monday night. “I think this is a beautiful thing. You can actually see behind the curtain…so it should be pretty cool,” he added.
Faculty and staff will have the option to buy tickets for the soundcheck show and a Q&A session, which will feature Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood. Brooks said fans are free to ask the couple any question they want, including about the business side of the industry.
The proceeds of the show will go toward a scholarship program.
