Ferne McCann has been praised by fans for sharing a candid snap of her body, four weeks after giving birth to her baby daughter Finty.
The First Time Mum star, 32, shared a lengthy Instagram post detailing how she’s ‘in awe’ of her body after welcoming her second child, and she’s ‘ready to feel confident in her own skin.’
Ferne shared a snap of her post-baby figure in a black bikini to launch her new nutrition plan, noting she wouldn’t begin exercising until she was cleared to do so by her doctor.
Her post was soon flooded with comments from fans praising her honesty about her body, despite Ferne’s admittance she was ‘unsure’ whether to post the snap.
The former TOWIE star welcomed a baby girl with her businessman fiancé Lorri Haines, 31, on July 6.

Ferne wrote: ‘Finty’s arrival has left me in awe of my body all over again. I carried the flame and birthed the fire.
‘I really wasn’t sure whether to share this picture because it’s a funny thing isn’t it? People have so much to say about other people’s choices with THEIR bodies.
‘This is what MY BODY looks like post birth. I know some people will likely say I look great or I don’t need to put pressure on myself.
‘Let me clear – I’m not. However I’m ready to feel more confident and comfortable in MY own skin & I want to inspire other women to feel the same.
‘I won’t be exercising until I’ve been given the all clear after my 6 week check but I can still lose weight and have energy and prioritise my well being.
‘Our Healthy Body Healthy Mind Focus starts on Monday 7th August and it’s the perfect combination of mind and body.
‘I feel so ready to nourish my body, to be fuelled so that I can be the best for my two girls, to work on my mindset, to be kind to myself.

Ferne’s post was soon flooded with praise from her followers, including her pal Danielle Armstrong, who welcomed her second daughter with husband Tommy Edney in June.
Danielle wrote: ‘Looking beautiful my darling, the female body is powerful. I’m sure this post will defo inspired many women to join you on your journey.’
Vicky Pattison added: ‘Still stunning mate.’

In an interview with OK! magazine, Ferne shared that the couple have opted to name their little one Finty Francis Haines-McCann.
Ferne said she chose Francis for her daughter’s middle name, using the traditional male spelling, to honour a very special family member.
Explaining the sweet reason for her middle name, Ferne said: ‘Francis is my grandad’s name – it’s a nod to Grandad Frank.’
The traditional name is of Latin origin, meaning ‘Frenchman’ or ‘free man’.
Going on to reveal the inspiration behind Finty’s unqiue name, she said: ‘I don’t know where I got it from, but when I typed it in [on Google ] I saw Judi Dench ’s daughter’s nickname is Finty.

‘I’ve always loved it and never heard it anywhere else before. I just feel so connected to the name – she came out and she was just Finty. I think she sounds like a character out of Bridgerton.’
The reality star then went on to explain the meaning behind Finty’s middle name, noting that there was a special family connection.
She said: ‘Francis is my grandad’s name – it’s a nod to Grandad Frank.’
And Ferne confessed that she loved the names so much that she was really hoping to give birth to another girl, joking that she sees herself as the ‘the Essex Kris Jenner’ with an ‘army of girls’.
She added that she sees herself having ‘two more’ children, quipping that she’d ‘have another one tomorrow’ if she could, though she ‘couldn’t see myself’ with a baby boy.
