Kerry Katona has said she is ‘begging’ her daughter Lilly-Sue to go on Love Island and set an example to young girls.
The Atomic Kitten star, 42, who shares her daughter with ex-husband Brian McFadden, 43, explained how Lilly-Sue could bring some normality to the ITV programme as ‘she doesn’t give a flying f***.’
Lilly-Sue has turned down Love Island twice after being approached to enter the villa.
Appearing on Slingo’s Getting Lippy Gossip Show on Friday, alongside host Emma Conybeare and MailOnline’s Rebecca Lawrence, Kerry praised her daughters’ relaxed approach to life.

She explained: ‘Not just because I wanted to make loads of money and give half to me. Because Lilly’s one of these who won’t shave her armpits, she’ll sit there smoking a rollie, she’s a very natural beautiful looking girl.
‘She won’t shave her legs. Teenage girls need to see that you know it’s not you don’t have to look perfect all the time give two flying f****.
Speaking about her own fitness journey, Kerry explained the importance of making ‘appearance tweaks’ for yourself.
She added: ‘My message to younger people is if you’re feeling good in your head and heart everything else will fall into place and don’t ever go and try and change yourself for somebody else, it’s the biggest mistake you can make.
‘I’m going to get something done I’m going to get it done for me I don’t rely on Ryan [fiancé] for my happiness he enhances it.’
Last month, Kerry blasted Love Island as she revealed why her daughter turned the opportunity down.
In an interview with The Mirror, Kerry said that she feels Love Island is ‘fake’ and is ‘shocked’ the show is still running, and she wanted her daughter to enter the villa to bring in a bit of normality.
She said: ‘Love Island – Bore Island, it’s wrong, I can’t believe it’s still going, our Lilly got asked to do it twice.’

Lilly-Sue turned down the show twice because she felt she wasn’t one to just stroll around in a bikini.
Kerry and her daughter share an open and honest relationship with Lilly-Sue revealing that Kerry’s OnlyFans is empowering, after the pair discussed her mother’s X-rated content.
She argued that her mum was taking back control of her body by publishing content on the site and said she ‘absolutely loves’ it.
