Shady’s back — and he’s dropping all the shade bombs on his new surprise album, Kamikaze!
On Thursday night at midnight, Eminem teased the sudden release on Twitter, writing he “tried not 2 overthink” the 13-track LP he produced with longtime collaborator Dr. Dre.
But don’t worry, Em still brought the heat and fired shots at politicians and rappers alike — including “evil serpent” Donald Trump, Mike Pence, Harvey Weinstein, Machine Gun Kelly, Joe Budden, Tyler, the Creator, and mumble rappers like Lil Pump, Lil Xan, and Lil Yachty.
The album kicks off on an angry note with The Ringer, which begins with the declaration that the rapper wants to “punch the world in the f***ing face right now.” But eventually, Em re-directs his rage towards himself on the track Stepping Stone, which sees the father reflecting on his personal demons.
Another standout track on the album is Venom, which was written for the upcoming Tom Hardy-led supervillain movie of the same name. Guests on the album include Canadian songstress Jessie Reyez and Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon.
It’s also worth noting that the Kamikaze album cover is an ode to the Beastie Boys’ classic album Licensed to Ill, which dropped in 1986 and also contained 13 songs.

Some noted that Em’s getting back in touch with his homophobic roots in this lyric where he mercilessly shades Tyler, the Creator:
Wow.
