The Mother of Dragons has a new flame.
It appears that Emilia Clarke is dating Charlie McDowell.
The “Game of Thrones” star, who celebrated her 32nd birthday Wednesday with a very chocolatey dragon cake, posted an Instagram photo of her shadow as she embraced a mystery person, writing on Thursday, “Well that was a birthday I won’t be forgetting in a while.❤️”
A few hours later, McDowell, who is the son of actress Mary Steenburgen and actor Malcolm McDowell, posted the same photo with the caption, “Happy birthday, E.❤️”
McDowell, 35, previously dated actress Rooney Mara for six years until August 2016. Clarke dated Seth MacFarlane from September 2012 to March 2013, according to Us Weekly.
Since then, Clarke appeared to be happily single, telling Glamour in April 2016, “I’m just chilling. I’ve got a good thing going.”
While the couple has yet to officially confirm their relationship, the matching photos and hearts say it all.
A rep for the HBO actress did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
