And Michael Griffiths, 28, who hit it off with fellow Love Island alum Ellie Brown, 21, during their EOTB stint together, has admitted that she ‘hated’ him for going on a dates just days after their split.
The blonde beauty was furious when the scouse hunk asked her to help him caption a snap taken on his date with another girl, despite having said he was ‘head over heels’ for Ellie.

The former couple lifted the lift on their failed romance while appearing on The Reality Tea podcast together.
Michael admitted: ‘Ellie hated me for a little bit. Not immediately after it happened, but it was for a while until last month. Yeah, pretty much December.
‘So I’ll explain it from my my point. So from the get go, I said to Ellie that I didn’t want anything to kind of progress any way because I thought that I would hurt her.’
Interrupting, Ellie agreed: ‘Yeah, when we left the villa we said we weren’t in a relationship. That was always like set in stone.’

Michael concluded: ‘So I was like, I don’t want it to go anywhere because I know I’m gonna hurt you.
‘And I don’t want to lose the friendship that I’ve got with you because I like, I adore Ellie, like I do.’
After their time together filming Ex On The Beach, Ellie unfollowed the firefighter after he brazenly went on a date with another girl, just days after their split.
Ellie explained: ‘So Michael started seeing this girl, right,’ she continued. He went to Winter Wonderland with her right, and then he got a picture there for promo and text me saying, “what should I caption this picture?”
‘I was like “are you serious? Don’t ask me to caption the picture of you at Winter Wonderland with another girl!'”

The 21-year-old beauty told fans: ‘I just want to clear up that i do not have a boyfriend. I did not find The One and that picture is from five months ago – we all have pictures together.’
She also tweeted: ‘This is not true… it’s literally just a pic from the villa we new would bang to promo the show’.
The former firefighter had gushed over his feelings for the blonde ahead of the launch of the season.

On their meeting, Michael previously said: ‘Ellie and I did form a good bond on the show. The relationship we built was unbelievable.
‘To have someone as amazing as her in my life means so much. I’m head over heels and I’m not letting her go…
‘Initially I just opened up to her because we were both from up north, she was a friendly face and I guess we have a lot in common both being on Love Island.
‘She instantly felt like home. But then it grew into a lot more. She helped me open up and believe in myself a lot more.

The MTV show – which drumps a group of singles in a villa together and drip-feeds them their former flames – returns in the new year.
Ellie and Michael will also appear alongside the likes of Miles Nazaire, Georgia Harrison, David McIntosh, Lateysha Grace and Calum Best.
