During a performance at XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas, Drake hinted that he will take up residency at the club.
“Vegas! When I came back, I thought it’d be back at T-Mobile Arena or some (stuff), but I’ll be back here at XS all year. You’ll have a lot of chances to see me,” Drake told the crowd of around 4,000.
At the end of his half-hour-long set, the 32-year-old rapper urged the crowd to raise their drinks, and said, “I want to look you each in the eye, I wish you all the happiness and health in the world in 2019.”
Drake collected a reported $2 million for his pre-dawn show Friday.
The Las Vegas Review Journal quoted sources as saying that Drake has agreed to 12 shows over two years at the Las Vegas Strip nightclub.
