Diego Luna and Michael Pena suit up to hit the red carpet at the season one premiere of their new series Narcos: Mexico held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Wednesday (November 14) in Los Angeles.
The 38-year-old actor and Michael, 42, were joined at the event by their co-stars Tenoch Huerta, Joaquin Cosio, Alyssa Diaz, Tessa Ia, Fernanda Urrejola, Teresa Ruiz, Matt Letscher, Manuel Masalva, Alejandro Edda and show-runner Eric Newman.
Other guests included the real life family of Kiki Camarena, and DEA agent James Kuykendall.
Narcos: Mexico will explore the origins of the modern drug war by going back to its roots, beginning at a time when the Mexican trafficking world was a loose and disorganized confederation of independent growers and dealers. Witness the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel in the 1980s as Félix Gallardo (Diego) takes the helm, unifying traffickers in order to build an empire. When DEA agent Kiki Camarena (Michael) moves his wife and young son from California to Guadalajara to take on a new post, he quickly learns that his assignment will be more challenging than he ever could have imagined.
